I dreamed I ate part of a black cat while it was still living. I stopped myself part way through and it continued to walk around as if I hadn’t harmed it but I felt terrible about it.
The first time I dreamed something like this was once before, when I dreamed someone else was eating a live black cat infront of me, which I tried to stop. And again the cat was walking around afterwards, missing parts, like it hadn’t been harmed

I dreamt of a cat who has passed away a few years ago and not mine but I was fond of it and vice versa. It was a white cat. It was walking around the pink carpet in my bedroom and in the hall. I noticed it bleeding from its privates and red circle of blood on the carpet I guess when it sat down. I heard a chewing motion and then it was choking. I couldn’t get to it.

Mine felt more like a nightmare. My house was filled with family and we were having so much fun. Then for some reason I opened the door and a vicious angry cat, tried to get in, I tried so hard to keep it out. It got in and tried to hide, I alerted my mom, we went searching for it. My little cousin found it, it scratched her, I finally caught it as it was getting ready to attack my little girl, it tried to bite me, Very aggressive cat, ( the cats eyes were so evil looking as it was looking directly in my eyes) it tried to scratch me, bite me, it was so strong, I wrestled with it, hitting its head against the wall, but then I awoke screaming, ” YOU’RE NEVER GOING TO HARM MY FAMILY!” Then I made a struggling growl noise. SMH, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

My Dream : I was with my relatives in their big house.. In the nearby lane, someone threw a pebble at my cousin*. Then a cloud of ashes covered him and I saw his dead body on the ground. Similarly 2 cousins were murdered and finally my youngest cousin, hit by a pebble. I saw the direction of pebble, there was a boy of 20 hiding behind the pillar of nearby house. I chased him to an unknown place and beat him then he confessed that he was throwing the pebbles at all my cousins. But he didn’t kill anyone. He was saving them and then he was going to tell me the NAME of the murderer and reason of the strange things. Then I realized something was coming. I felt a strange sensation in my body as something bad was going to happen. I saw a group of big sized black cats in that dark place, those were staring at me. I could not count. But there would be16—20 cats. I shivered to see their sizes, color, number and the surrounding place. I suddenly woke up.
I realized that those strange cats were behind the murders of my cousin and also those were not only big size cat but may belong to the dark world.
I don’t know the meaning of this dream.
*identity is not known to me, but somehow he/she was my cousin in the dream.

well in my dream the white can just darts away from me i dont chase it ,it just runs and it happened twice in the dream and then another stripy cat also darted away from me in the other direction when i approach and this dream came a day before the vampire dream

Your dream made me giggle, specially the part about being given an old dog. That’s as funny as f**k as we say in the UK. I too would’ve been p’d off to be given a dog when I was expecting a cat. I’m also very fond of cats. I like dogs to though. The dog thing appreciation is a new thing with me though. I used to be terrified of most dogs, unless I knew them and their owner personally. I was bitten by a large dog when I was a child so I grew to fear them.

Hi Indigo, you’re right it’s pure folly. Funnily enough I was gonna just let it go., even though the words hurt like hell, and deep down i knew it wasnt any truer to say that one gender lies more than the other. and also because I tend to be rather timid. But after reading some of the comments, I came to the conclusion that whomever wrote that dream meaning is confused and maybe, frustrated in some area/s of their life.

Thank you for not bowing to peer pressure, and just going along with the crowd.

Great information, but to conflate European symbolism with Judeo-Christian symbolism is erroneous. Traditional European symbolism has nothing to do with the latter and the distinction should be made. This is not to criticize the actual interpretation(s) given, but such a misrepresentation may mislead readers.
