From the past one week, I have been seeing a dream wherein I see that someone has cut thumb of my left fee and is holding it in his hand and writing some type of a report on me. Though I did not feel pain in the dream, but I feel bit of sadness and I try to put turmeric cream on the wound area from where the thumb was chopped off, but some once hand prevents me from doing that. I have an impending promotion in my office which has been kept on hold from the last three years in spite of me proving beyond doubt to the management that I really deserve the promotion. I would like to know what is the meaning of thumb of left foot being chopped off. Will look forward to your reply.

I also dreamt small creatures were crawling on me, trying to find my thumbs to cut them off. These nightmares were so bad that I would hide my thumbs in my fists at night, or anytime I was scared. To this day (I am 40) I hold my thumbs in my fist if I’m nervous or scared. Having my thumbs exposed (while awake) makes me feel vulnerable. I no longer dream of my thumbs though. Any thoughts?
